IESA and Sir John Soane's scholarship

Clemence told us that "the Master in History and Business of Art and Collecting offered in collaboration by IESA and validated by the University of Warwick, London, is the perfect continuation to my formation. Discovering different cultures and facing new challenges has always been a part of my personality. This Master gives me the opportunity to learn about art from a different perspective and a more practical approach, as well as to discover new areas of work such as business and collecting which were not included in my previews formation.

The scholarship offered by the Sir John Soane’s Museum is a great opportunity to work along with professionals in a unique environment. It also allows me to extend my knowledge of 18thcentury British culture with which I had fallen in love while writing my previews Master’s dissertation on Italian and North European influences in Sir Joshua Reynolds’ portraits of women and child.

Thanks to the experience this program will give me I hope to participate and contribute in the management of a collection of art as well as to keep satisfying my curiosity for new knowledge".
