Goals

This innovative MBA in Arts and Cultural Management, offered jointly with Paris School of Business (PSB), is exclusively taught in English.

It merges the expertise of a distinguished business school with the specialized knowledge of IESA arts&culture in training. The program is meticulously crafted to equip individuals for roles within the arts and cultural industries through rigorous teaching and practical training in professional practices. By blending fundamental business courses with studies in arts and culture, students are empowered to become dynamic, innovative, and creative arts managers.

Throughout the program, participants engage in a group project, undertake a Capstone dissertation in pairs, and have the option to extend their learning through a six-month internship. This immersive experience exposes students to Paris's vibrant cultural landscape, offering firsthand encounters with its museums, esteemed collections, art galleries, and performing arts venues through visits, professional interactions, and practical sessions. Upon successful completion, graduates receive a PSB diploma and an MBA from IESA (Title 7 recognized by the State).

The MBA in Arts and Cultural Management is tailored to prepare students for diverse management roles within industries, companies, and artistic and cultural institutions. Through comprehensive instruction in management, marketing, finance, law, economics of culture, and artistic project management, along with specialization options in either performing arts professions or visual arts professions, students are equipped for multifaceted career paths.

Taught by seasoned professionals with extensive international experience, the program enables students to:

  • Master the management of business, cultural, or artistic projects, including aspects such as financing, regulations, law, and HR.
  • Develop cultural projects adeptly, including skills in marketing and brand communication.
  • Effectively promote artistic or cultural projects by aligning them with contemporary creation and the preferences of targeted audiences.
  • Communicate about cultural projects and conduct mediation actions tailored to the project and its audiences.
  • Cultivate a professional network within their chosen specialty sector.

To achieve these objectives, students engage in case studies, participate in a group project within their chosen specialty, and complete a final dissertation. Project work and dissertations are evaluated by juries composed of faculty members and industry professionals.
